Tree Height Data

The trees in the flood plain plot were small to medium sized. A majority of the trees had heights of 25 ft or shorter. The tallest tree on the plot was the Mockernut Hickory which was estimated to be about 75 ft to 100 ft tall. The second tallest species on the plot was the Red Maple. The 3 Red Maples had an average height of about 50 ft. The smallest species on the plot was the Nellie R. Stevens Holly which was estimated to be around 2 ft.
