Conclusion

The Flood Plain plot mostly consisted of American Beech Trees. However, the most prominent tree in the plot was the 130 year old Red Maple that dominated the plot in terms of age, height and circumference. The plot as a whole was very rocky and featured a rocky cistern in the center. While there was a good variety of different trees in the plot besides Beech, there was mostly only less than three individual trees of each species. As a whole, the trees in the plot were relatively young besides the red maple.
